The estate already had a security system covering exterior entrances, service corridors, the pantry entrance and the kitchen doorway.
Adrian simply requested access to footage from the previous thirty days.
The security company sent him the archive.
He watched until three in the morning.
Most of it was meaningless.
Deliveries.
Employees.
Gardeners.
Natalie walking through hallways with her phone.
Elena carrying groceries.

Natalie entered his grandmother’s sitting room.
Alone.

Eleanor kept old family trust documents inside it.
He checked the sitting room the next morning.

“Is everything all right?”
