The Hotel Maid Knocked on Our Door at 3 AM and Whispered, ‘You Need to Leave Right Now’

Inside were shelves of folded towels.

Nothing else.

Ana stepped in, reached behind a stack of bathrobes, and pressed something on the wall.

A section of shelving clicked.

Then it moved.

Cold air touched my face.

Behind the shelf was another hallway.

Narrow.

Dark.

Not listed on any hotel map.

I stopped at the entrance.

“No.”
