This corporate war followed a 2024 dispute where Priscilla accused Kruse of stealing over $120,000 in movie royalties. Other controversial figures, including Stan Lee’s former manager Keya Morgan, also became entangled in the chaotic legal mess.
Because of these multi-million-dollar headlines, the public automatically assumes Navarone enjoys an incredibly lavish lifestyle. However, the musician has frequently pushed back against the assumption that he relies on family wealth.
He was raised by Priscilla and producer Marco Garibaldi until their long-term relationship ended in 2006. At age 18, he actively chose to walk away from the Los Angeles elite and relocated to Santa Cruz.
He eventually formed a synth-rock group called Them Guns to build an independent music career. Navarone previously clarified that it is a total myth that he grew up supported by the massive Elvis Presley estate.
His path was heavily complicated by severe personal demons during his youth. Navarone fought a highly dangerous addiction to heroin and fentanyl for a prolonged period.
The problem peaked around 2015 when he was using substances dozens of times each day. He eventually entered a rehabilitation center, where medical tests shockingly revealed he was consuming pure fentanyl instead of heroin.
He officially reached a turning point in 2020. He chose to conquer his addiction so he could safely visit his now-wife, Elisa, in Switzerland. Priscilla provided crucial assistance throughout his intense withdrawal period. She prepared meals and physically supported him when he could barely walk.
In May 2024, Navarone spoke to about transforming his painful past into a helpful warning for others. He teamed up with Michael DeLeon of the non-profit organization Steered Straight Inc. to educate school children about drug dangers.
He has also been working on an upcoming memoir and a new studio album. However, he recently decided to step back from music for a completely different venture.
